Title should be followed by author(s)\u2019 name(s) in bold and institutional affiliation in regular text\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Abstract:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 12 pt. font, italics, single-spaced, 1.27 cm (0.5 inches) indentation left &amp; right (including standard 2.54 cm margins, this would be 3.81 cm). One line space before and after the abstract. Keywords are not necessary<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Introduction:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Use the heading INTRODUCTION for the introduction. An introduction heading is not consistent with APA but we are adopting one for our purposes here.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Body:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 12 pt. font, single-spaced, 1 inch (2.54 cm) margins all sides, full-justification, no indentation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Headings:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Primary Headings:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> CAPITALS, bold, left-aligned, line space after heading<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Subheadings:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Title Case, bold, no line space after headings<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Supra-Subheadings:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Title <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ase, bold, italics, no line space after headings<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you use subheadings, there should be at least two of them under a primary heading; the same goes for supra-subheadings under subheadings<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Emphasis:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> No use of single or double quotes for emphasis. Instead, use <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">italics <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in accordance with APA guidelines<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"2\"><strong>Block quotes:<\/strong> Single-spaced (same as the rest of the paper), 1.27 cm (0.5 inches) indentation left &amp; right (including standard 2.54 cm margins, this would be 3.81 cm). One line space before and after the abstract.<\/li>\n<li><b>Citation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Citations in the text should follow the referencing style used by the American Psychological Association, Seventh Edition\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Figures &amp; Tables:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Titled as <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Figure\/Table #.#<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ( in italics ), in numerical order (of mention within text). The title should be above figure\/table, left aligned, Title Case, italics with one line space between the title and the figure\/table.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inserted figure\/table should be centered. No vertical lines or outer borders. Internal horizontal lines are fine. Some shading is acceptable for emphasizing key information if used sparingly. Limit shading to grayscale. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One line space after the figure\/table<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Endnotes:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Use endnotes in lieu of footnotes. They should be placed at the end of the text, before any acknowledgements and the references<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Acknowledgements:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Acknowledgements should be placed at the end of the text, after any endnotes, and before the references\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>References:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The word REFERENCES itself needs to be in CAPITALS, bold, left-aligned, two lines of space before heading, one line after;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The reference list should follow APA format, left-aligned, with no hanging indent and a line space between each reference<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An en dash (\u2013) should be used instead of a hyphen (-) for page ranges<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DOIs should be included and hyper-linked, if available. If DOIs are not available, include hyperlinked URLs (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/doi.crossref.org\/simpleTextQuery\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tool for finding DOIs<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Appendices:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The word APPENDIX itself needs to be in CAPITALS, bold, left-aligned\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each appendix must be labelled with a letter (A, B, C, etc.) but if there is only 1, no letter is needed; in principle, each appendix should begin on a new page\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the appendix has a title, the title should be Title Case, left aligned, and bold on a new line with one line space before and after<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Page numbers:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> No page numbers necessary; these will be added later, after editing<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Footer:\u00a0<\/strong>Please include the following information, in the footer at the bottom of the page: Author Name.
