The journal&#8217;s purpose is to highlight and showcase current research\/practice being carried out in this institution. In addition to this research, there are occasionally special sections pertaining to specific themes, such as the recently published one entitled <a href=\"https:\/\/kuis.kandagaigo.ac.jp\/eli\/publications\/?page_id=510\"><em>Teaching During a Pandemic<\/em><\/a>, published in August 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This journal was relaunched and renamed as this ELI-based journal in 2018. \u00a0This renewal marks the end of one journey but the start of another, which we hope to be long and fruitful.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on the history of the paper and the decision behind its renaming, please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/kuis.kandagaigo.ac.jp\/eli\/publications\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Foreword2018.pdf\">Foreword to the 2018 issue<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The most current regular edition of the journal is the Autumn 2025 issue.<\/p>\n<p>Published by the English Language Institute, Kanda University of International Studies (Chiba-shi, Chiba-ken, Japan)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Literacies and Language Education: Research and Practice (formerly known as Working\u00a0Papers in Language\u00a0Education and\u00a0Research) exists as a forum for the publication of all relevant research for current members of the English Language Institute at Kanda University of International Studies.
