Free online course: Introduction to advising

We invite you to participate in a free online course as an introduction to advising. The course is open to educators, administrators and students who are interested in learning more about language learner autonomy, advising in language learning, and supporting others in self-directed learning.

Purpose

To offer a free introduction to anyone who is interested in learning more about learner autonomy and advising, especially if you are considering taking online courses in our new Certificate in Advising being offered by our graduate school starting in January 2020. Details here…

How to participate

View the videos in your own time, read the articles, participate in weekly online written discussions for three weeks. There is no charge, no credit, and no feedback. Participate as much or as little as you like, but you will get more from the experience if you engage in the online discussion with fellow participants.
